WARDOGS has 21 skins across five sets: 17 are sold for gold bars at 5 to 30 gold each, and four carry no gold price because they come with the paid Supporter Edition (the three Faction Logo weapon camos and the Taxi MH-6 livery), per the wardogshub.gg community catalogue taken from the closed beta client — BULKHEAD has not published an official skin list, so treat this as the known catalogue, not a guaranteed complete one. Each skin repaints exactly one named weapon, vehicle or piece of kit (the parachute is the exception to “weapon or vehicle”) and fits nothing else. Below is the full catalogue by set, every gold price, and what those prices work out to in in-game cash at the last quoted exchange rate.

TL;DR

  • 21 skins, 5 sets: Two Tone Desert (12), Digital Wood (4), Black & Gold (1), Faction Logo (3) and Taxi (1) — the four Supporter Edition camos.
  • 17 skins are bought with gold bars, at 5, 10, 15 or 30 gold. The four Supporter Edition skins have no gold price — they come with the $49.99 edition, not free to every player.
  • A skin is locked to one entity — the Two Tone Desert M4 goes on the M4 and nowhere else.
  • One gold bar was quoted at $255,706 for 8 September 2026, and that rate floats daily, so every cash figure here is dated, not fixed.
  • Buying all 17 priced skins means 185 gold bars — roughly $47.3 million in cash at that same dated rate.

What Are WARDOGS Skins and How Do They Work

Skins in WARDOGS are repaints. The community catalogue describes each one as a repaint of a single named weapon or vehicle that fits nothing else, so a skin is bound to its entity rather than to a class, a slot or a loadout. Nothing in the catalogue describes a stat effect, and the sets are sorted by look, not by power.

They sit on the gold side of the game’s two-currency economy. Cash is the money you spend on kit inside a match in BULKHEAD’s shooter, published alongside Team17; gold bars are the separate currency that priced skins are bought with, on the gold market. That split is why a skin has no effect on your loadout buy order and why cosmetics survive the parts of the economy that reset — see our breakdown of what happens to gold bars when a season ends.

All 21 WARDOGS Skins: Full List by Set and Price

This is the complete catalogue as listed on wardogshub.gg, whose data comes from the closed beta client — it is a community list, not an official BULKHEAD one, and it may have changed after the 10 September Early Access launch.

Tip

Check what you actually run before you spend. A skin names one weapon or vehicle and fits only that one, so two M4 skins in different sets are two separate purchases at 10 gold each, per the community catalogue.

Two Tone Desert is the broad one, covering rifles, sidearms, the M249 and four vehicles, per wardogshub.gg. The 5 gold tier holds the A-91, the Bobcat, the Bushmaster M17S and the KH-2002. The 10 gold tier covers the AMP-9, the M4, the M500, plus two of the vehicles — the Dune Buggy and the Humvee. The 15 gold tier is the AMR 50, the M249 SAW and the MH-6 helicopter. Twelve skins in the set, 115 gold to own all of them.

Digital Wood takes the M4, the SV98, the GGX 17 and the sport parachute, according to the same catalogue. The GGX 17 skin is 5 gold, the M4 and SV98 are 10 each, and the Sport Parachute is the set’s 15 gold item — the only cosmetic in the whole list that goes on a parachute rather than a gun or a vehicle. Forty gold for all four.

Black & Gold: One AK74 at the Top of the Price List

WARDOGS Black & Gold AK74 skin
Black & Gold AK74AK74 · 30 gold

Black & Gold is a single skin: the AK74, at 30 gold, the highest price in the catalogue and double the next tier down. Nothing in the source explains why it sits alone or whether more entries are planned for the set, so treat it as one item priced apart from everything else rather than the first of a range.

Four skins carry no gold price at all: the three Faction Logo weapon camos on the A-91, the Bushmaster M17S and the KH-2002 — the three faction starting rifles, each carrying its faction’s emblem (Valkyra, Lonestar, Manticore) — and the Taxi livery for the MH-6. The wardogshub.gg catalogue labels them “granted”, and that label is misleading: these four are exactly the cosmetics listed in the paid Supporter Edition ($49.99 against $39.99 standard), alongside a scoreboard icon and two bobbleheads. Nothing else is published about them — no level gate, no claim step — so if you did not buy the Supporter Edition, do not expect them in your armoury.

Gold Bars, the Gold Market and What a Skin Costs in Cash

Priced skins are bought with gold bars on the gold market, and gold bars are a currency apart from the cash you spend on kit, per the community catalogue. Dexerto’s WARDOGS gold bar page describes gold bars as the currency used in the in-game cosmetics store and states that the exchange rate fluctuates daily, so the number of bars your cash buys is not fixed from one login to the next. For how the cash side of that is earned in the first place, our guide to earning and spending in-match cash covers the income end.

The last rate we can point at is the hub’s Gold Exchange figure: one bar cost $255,706 at the exchange rate for 8 September 2026. Because that rate floats, every conversion below is approximate and dated to 8 September — not a price tag.

Here is the honest size of the goal. Every priced skin in the catalogue adds up to 185 gold bars, which is roughly $47.3 million in in-game cash at the 8 September rate. No source we could check publishes a confirmed cash-per-match figure for the Early Access build, so converting that into hours would be guesswork — what is known is the bar count, the tier prices and the rate they were quoted against. Even a single 30 gold AK74 skin is a bank of cash that dwarfs a normal loadout purchase, and unspent cash is subject to the season economy rather than sitting still.

Warning

The gold exchange rate moves daily, so converting a large cash pile on one day can leave you with noticeably fewer bars than on another. The hub’s Gold Exchange page states that gold bar exchanges cannot be resold or refunded, so treat a conversion and a skin purchase as final.

Price tierSkins at this tierAbout, in cash, at the 8 Sep rate

10 gold7about $2.56 million
15 gold4about $3.84 million

How Skins Are Obtained: Gold Market Purchase or Supporter Edition

Two routes, and the sources support only these two. Gold Market: the 17 priced skins are bought with gold bars; gold bars come from exchanging in-game cash at the Gold Market, and that exchange is one-way (the hub’s Gold Exchange page states gold cannot be sold back or refunded). Supporter Edition: the three Faction Logo camos and the Taxi MH-6 livery are part of the $49.99 edition — see our Supporter Edition breakdown for what else is in it. No source we checked prints the exact menu path for applying a skin, so we are not inventing one: each weapon and vehicle lists its own cosmetics in the armoury, and that is where a bought skin is equipped.

Best Value per Gold: Which Skins to Buy First

Three military vehicles of different sizes stand in a dim yard at dusk.
Illustration: Weighing surface size against visible coverage

This part is our reading, not the source’s. If you want the widest visible change per bar, vehicles and the parachute win: the Two Tone Desert MH-6 at 15 gold repaints an entire helicopter that your squad and everyone shooting at it can see, and the Humvee and Dune Buggy at 10 gold each cover large surfaces you spend real time inside. A 5 gold weapon repaint at the bottom tier is the cheapest thing you can buy, but it is also the skin almost nobody but you will ever look at.

Primaries sit in the middle: 10 gold for the M4 you actually carry every round is defensible, 30 gold for the Black & Gold AK74 is the most expensive single cosmetic on the list by a clear margin. Your level and unlocks matter here too — buying a skin for a weapon you have not reached yet is dead gold, and the Season 1 progression changes shifted where those unlocks land, which we cover in our Season 1 XP curve breakdown for levels 10 to 20.

What Is Not Confirmed About WARDOGS Skins

Three things get repeated as fact that the sources do not support.

Myth: This List Is the Confirmed Early Access Catalogue

It is not. The catalogue is a community list built from the closed beta client and describes 21 skins shipping in the closed beta. WARDOGS entered Steam Early Access on 10 September 2026 and BULKHEAD published a Season 1 changelog the night before, per the official Steam announcements, but we have seen no official skin list — whether the 21 changed at launch is unconfirmed.

Myth: Skins Are Season-Exclusive and Will Rotate Away

Nothing in the source says that. The catalogue lists prices and granted items with no seasonal flag, no rotation and no availability window, so any claim that a set leaves the market at season end is unverified. Season-end behaviour is documented for currency, not for cosmetics.

Myth: Buying a Skin Changes How the Gun Performs

The sources describe skins as repaints of one named weapon or vehicle and mention no stat effect at all. Treat them as appearance only unless BULKHEAD states otherwise.

Our Take: Are WARDOGS Skins Worth the Gold?

Our Take

Worth it for one or two things you look at constantly, not worth chasing as a set.

The catalogue is small and the pricing is blunt: 5 gold for a bottom-tier weapon repaint, 30 for a single AK74 repaint. Because a skin is bound to one entity, completionism is the trap here — 185 gold bars for 17 repaints on weapons you will not all use is a lot of banked cash for very little screen time.

Buy the vehicle and primary skins for the kit you genuinely run, count the four Supporter Edition camos only if you bought that edition, and leave the rest. With the catalogue itself unverified against the live build and the exchange rate floating, patience costs nothing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many skins are in WARDOGS?
21, across five sets, per the wardogshub.gg community catalogue built from the closed beta client. Seventeen are sold for gold bars and four come with the paid Supporter Edition.
Which WARDOGS skins have no gold price?
Four: the Faction Logo camos for the A-91, Bushmaster M17S and KH-2002, and the Taxi livery for the MH-6. They are not free to everyone — they are the cosmetics included in the $49.99 Supporter Edition. Everything else is bought with gold bars.
How much is a gold bar in WARDOGS cash?
One bar was quoted at $255,706 at the exchange rate for 8 September 2026. The rate floats daily, so check the in-game gold exchange before converting anything — that figure is a magnitude, not a fixed price.
Can a WARDOGS skin go on any weapon?
No. A skin names one weapon or vehicle and fits only that one, so the Two Tone Desert M4 and the Digital Wood M4 are two separate purchases for the same rifle.
Can you buy gold bars with real money?
Not according to BULKHEAD: gold bars are obtained by exchanging cash you earned in play, and the studio has said there will be no other monetisation during Early Access. The one paid extra is the Supporter Edition ($49.99 against $39.99 standard), which contains four camos, a scoreboard icon and two bobbleheads — not gold.
