// Escape From Tarkov FAQ

Answered.

Questions specific to Escape From Tarkov. Anything else — live chat or Discord, we answer 24/7.

01

Is Escape From Tarkov boosting safe on my account?

Yes, when run as selfplay. We don't offer account-share on Tarkov because BSG's anti-cheat treats geo-mismatches harshly. Your booster joins your party from your region, plays alongside you, and your credentials never leave your hands.

02

How long does Kappa take in a typical wipe?

Solo Kappa is 250 to 400 hours depending on luck and map knowledge. With a booster running raids alongside you, that compresses to about 100 to 150 hours of focused play, often less if your trader levels are already mid-wipe.

03

Can I keep playing during a Tarkov boost?

Yes — selfplay literally means you're in the raid. The point is the team carries the workload while you progress your own PMC. A lot of our regulars treat the boost as guided play more than a hands-off carry.

04

What about Arena and the Prestige system?

Both are on the menu. Arena Factory ranked, the Arena season pass, and the new Prestige 1/2 paths can be added to any order. Tell us your starting state and we'll quote per goal.

05

Do I need to provide gear and roubles for the raids?

Not always. We can bring our own kits for the carry portion or use yours if you've stockpiled gear from the early wipe. It's worth discussing in the order chat — sometimes a mat package saves time.

06

What happens if BSG drops a wipe mid-order?

Wipes are scheduled now, so they don't come as surprises. If a wipe lands before we finish your order, we refund the unfinished portion or roll the booking into the next wipe at no extra cost. You pick.

07

Do you offer refunds if you can't deliver?

Yes. If we can't start your order on time, or if BSG breaks something we can't work around, you get a refund on the unfinished portion. Tarkov is the game most likely to throw curveballs, so this policy actually gets used.

Escape From Tarkov Boosting for the Post-1.0 Wipe Cycle

Tarkov hit 1.0 in November 2025 and the game is finally on a stable six-month wipe schedule, which means the quest grind, the hideout chain, and the Kappa rush are predictable for the first time since 2017. The catch? BSG packed every season with more progression — Prestige, the Arena map rotation, new boss spawns on Streets and Lighthouse — and most players still can’t clear it before wipe. Escape From Tarkov boosting exists because the time math hasn’t gotten any kinder, even with the new structure.

Our Tarkov roster runs every wipe from day one, so by the time you’re asking for a boost we already know which quests are bugged, which boss spots are deserted, and which AI patterns the 1.0.4.9 patch actually changed. You point at the goal, we put in the raids, and you log back in to a PMC that’s actually caught up with the season.

What a Tarkov Boost Actually Gets You

Tarkov is a buffet of grind, so “boosting” means different things depending on your wipe goals. Most common asks:

  • Kappa container — full quest chain to Collector, all the keys, all the items, the whole thing.
  • Lightkeeper unlock — Network Provider chain, the full faction swap, every annoying handover.
  • Boss hunts — Killa, Reshala, Tagilla, Sanitar, Kaban, Goons, all of them on farm for tasks and loot.
  • Hideout completion — Bitcoin farm, intelligence center, all stations to level 3.
  • Roubles farming — flea market flips, Streets loot runs, fence rep, all of it.
  • Arena unlocks and ranked — Factory tactical map clears, ranked climbs, Arena season pass progression.
  • Prestige system — full Prestige 1 and 2 paths once you’re ready to reset.

Want something specific that isn’t on the list? Tell us — we’ve probably done it.

Clearing Tarkov Without Burning Three Months of Evenings

Tarkov is the rare game where the grind isn’t a metaphor. A typical wipe to Kappa is 250+ hours if you know what you’re doing, 400+ if you’re learning the maps as you go. Most players hit a wall around Lightkeeper or the second Mechanic chain, and by then the wipe is half over. Boosting cuts that loop without taking the fun parts away.

A lot of our regulars play the early wipe themselves — the no-armor PvP, the first traders, the early hideout — then hand off the grindy middle so they can come back for the late-wipe Kappa runs at full power. It’s a tool, not a replacement, and we’ll tell you which parts are worth doing yourself if your goal is just to enjoy the game.

Account Safety on Tarkov in 2026

BSG’s anti-cheat got real teeth in 2025 and didn’t loosen at 1.0. We don’t gamble with your profile:

  • Selfplay only on Tarkov — your account never leaves your hands. We don’t offer account-share on EFT.
  • Same-server matchmaking so your booster joins your raids without any geo-flag weirdness.
  • No cheats, no radar, no third-party tools. Tarkov bans on radar use are permanent and we don’t go near it.
  • Voice and chat coordination so the raids actually feel like teamwork, not a babysit job.
  • Wipe-locked progress reports — your booster logs every quest, every kill, every key.

If anyone offers Tarkov account-share, run. We don’t, and there’s a good reason for it.

How a Tarkov Order Works, Step by Step

  1. Pick the goal — Kappa, Lightkeeper, hideout, Arena rank, whatever’s on your wipe checklist.
  2. Tell us your trader levels, hideout state, and current quest line — saves us hours of scouting.
  3. Choose your region so we match a booster on your server cluster.
  4. Pay and schedule — peak wipe weeks are busy, but matches are usually within hours.
  5. Run raids together — your booster joins your party, you bring the PMC, the team puts the work in.
  6. Approve when the goal is hit — Kappa container in stash, Lightkeeper accessible, hideout maxed. We don’t close early.

Current Wipe and Patch Notes

Patch 1.0.4.9 and the May 2026 TarkovTV stream changed enough that we update our route sheets every couple of weeks. The shorthand:

  • Prestige system live since May 8 — full reset with cosmetic and progression rewards, fits the late-wipe push.
  • Inertia tuning reduced strafe and walk inertia for medium/heavy kits — repositioning is faster than it was.
  • Arena Factory tactical map released in patch 0.5.0.0 — separate progression from the main game.
  • Edition bonuses reworked — your Standard or EoD account gets new perks beyond what it shipped with.
  • Customs boss event is currently live, extended through late May — Reshala-adjacent farm window.

Our PMCs ride the patch notes hard, because in Tarkov a single inertia change can break a run that worked last week.

Who Plays Your Account

Every Tarkov order goes to a player who’s logged Kappa multiple wipes in a row, knows the boss spawn rates by heart, and can clear Streets without checking a map. We don’t onboard players who only learned the game last wipe — Tarkov is unforgiving enough that experience compounds, and one bad raid can erase a week of quest progress. When you message your booster mid-order, you’re talking to the PMC who just ran the raid. That kind of continuity matters when a quest item is locked behind a single map and the spawn rate is 8%.

Why Players Pick Neonsect

We’ve been doing this since 2016 across 50+ titles, and Tarkov has been on the menu since the early beta wipes. We know the game’s rhythms, we know which BSG balance changes actually matter, and we don’t oversell what a boost can do — if a quest is bugged, we’ll tell you to wait for a patch instead of charging for an impossible run. Orders start when we say they start, updates land in your inbox, and refunds are immediate when something is on us. That’s the whole pitch for Tarkov boosting at Neonsect, and a decade of returning customers backs it up.
