01 Will I lose my games, friends or hours?
No. A region change moves the storefront your account buys from, not the account. Library, friends list, hours, achievements, inventory and cloud saves are all untouched, and everything you already own stays owned — the new region cannot take a game back.
02 How much cheaper is it, really?
It depends on the title, and anyone quoting you a flat percentage is guessing. Steam prices each country separately, publishers set those numbers independently, and the exchange rate moves them daily — so the gap is wide on one game and nothing on the next. Look up the three or four games you actually plan to buy on SteamDB, which lists every country's price side by side, and you will know your own answer in a minute.
03 Can I change back later?
Yes, but not immediately: Valve limits how often a store country can change. Treat this as a move rather than something to switch back and forth, and tell us up front if you expect to return — it changes what we would advise.
04 Do I need a local payment method afterwards?
For buying, yes. The region decides which store you see; a payment method belonging to that country is what keeps you in it when you check out. This is Steam's rule, not ours, and it is the part people find out too late — so we say it before you order.
05 Which countries can you do?
Ukraine and Kazakhstan are the two we run most and they have their own pages here. For anything else, take the "Any Other Region" service and name the country in the order notes or on live chat — we confirm it is possible before starting, and refund in full if it is not.
06 Is any game unavailable after the change?
Rarely, but it happens: a handful of titles are sold only in certain countries, and a few are sold in a version that only runs there. If a specific game is the reason you are moving, ask us on live chat first and we will check that title before you pay.
