On this page
The Helldivers 2 Scope of Authority Warbond is a long-range and stealth Premium Warbond that goes live on 20 October 2026 with patch 7.2.0, and it is built around a sniper rifle, an anti-materiel rifle and two armors with the Stationary Shroud passive.
TL;DR
- Out on 20 October 2026. To open it you need the base game, enough progression and Super Credits, as with any Premium Warbond.
- 18 entries on three pages: a primary, a secondary, two support weapons, a throwable, two armor sets with helmets, capes, player cards, an emote, a title and three 100-Super-Credit bundles.
- Both armors carry Stationary Shroud: less weapon sway and less detection while you stay crouched or prone; the community wiki lists 35% less sway when aiming and 15% less noise when moving.
- Per the community wiki: 1,000 Super Credits to buy, 300 back inside, and 603 Medals for every item.
Warbond Medals
A booster plays in your squad while you earn Medals; you spend them on the pages you want as they come in.
What Is the Scope of Authority Warbond and When Does It Launch?
Scope of Authority is a Premium Warbond that Arrowhead describes as the next step in long-range and clandestine combat, announced on 13 October 2026 for a 20 October launch. A footnote in that post adds the usual conditions: you need the base game, Super Credits and enough progression. It arrives in patch 7.2.0, “Devoid of Liberty: 7.2.0”, dated 20 October 2026. It follows the Ironclad Democracy Premium Warbond; our Ironclad Democracy Warbond item list covers that one. You can read the original text on the Steam announcement from Arrowhead.
If the hours are the obstacle rather than the fight itself, Helldivers 2 boosting is run hands-on by a booster from your region.
Every Item in the Scope of Authority Warbond
Item names follow Arrowhead’s announcement. Pages, slots and Medal costs come from the community Helldivers Wiki (read 20 October 2026); we have not checked them against the in-game store. The wiki spells the cape “Boundary Banker” and the emote “Manual Ballistic Projection Protocol”.

Page totals: 162, 194 and 247 Medals, 603 in all. The wiki lists page 2 as opening after 120 Medals spent in the warbond and page 3 after 145. What each weapon does, from Arrowhead’s announcement:

Stationary Shroud: What It Does and How to Use It

Stationary Shroud is the new armor passive on both SS-33 Mimetic Marshal and SS-15 Focal Point. Arrowhead’s announcement says it reduces weapon sway and detection range while you are crouched or prone, without numbers. The community wiki page for the SS-33, still marked work in progress, gives three effects with different conditions: weapon sway while aiming is 35% lower, you make 15% less noise when moving, and the foliage-like concealment that shortens enemy detection range works only while you stay still, crouched or prone. Treat the numbers as community data until you see them in the in-game tooltip. Our reading is that it rewards players who set up and hold a position, which fits the Sightliner and the Apex, both described as long-range or heavy-hitting tools. For how other passives compare, see our Helldivers 2 armor passives and armor costs page.
With the R-40 Sightliner
The Sightliner is the long-range option. Lower sway helps whenever you aim, while the concealment needs you to stop and stay crouched or prone, so the two halves of the passive suit a shooter who picks a spot and holds it.
With the AMW-20 Apex
The Apex is a backpack-fed support weapon with assisted reload, the heavy option for armored targets. The LAS-44 Nova is the other support pick from this warbond: an energy rifle with no ammunition to carry, per the wiki’s Nova page. Pairing it with a Shroud armor is our reading of how the two fit, not something Arrowhead states.
Which armor carries it
Arrowhead frames the Mimetic Marshal as the light armor for players who spend time in cover, and the Focal Point as the medium armor for players who move forward more than they camp. Both carry the same passive.
Step-by-Step: Setting Up a Shroud Loadout

From the armor to the first shot, using only what Arrowhead has published.
-
1
Pick one Shroud armor
SS-33 Mimetic Marshal (light) or SS-15 Focal Point (medium); both carry Stationary Shroud.
-
2
Primary: R-40 Sightliner
The bolt-action sniper rifle for armor-piercing shots at range.
-
3
Secondary: P-44 Mist
The machine pistol for when enemies close in.
-
4
Support: AMW-20 Apex or LAS-44 Nova
The Apex for heavy armor with a backpack feed, the Nova if you would rather not carry ammunition.
-
5
Throwable: G-11 Caltrops
Slows and stuns enemies that push your position.
-
6
Stay still to hide
Lower sway works while aiming, but the concealment needs you to stop and stay crouched or prone.
Price, Pages and What It Costs in Time
Arrowhead’s announcement says only that you need Super Credits. The community wiki lists the rest, which we have not checked in the in-game store:
- To buy: 1,000 Super Credits.
- Back inside: three 100-Super-Credit entries, 300 in all, which cost 7, 12 and 32 Medals to claim. They come back only as you spend Medals, so the price to open the warbond is still 1,000.
- Medals: 162 for page 1, 194 for page 2 and 247 for page 3, 603 for everything.
The Medal wallet holds 250 at most, and the wiki’s Medals page says anything earned above that is lost, so plan to spend in rounds as you earn. We do not turn 603 Medals into hours: Medal income depends on difficulty and the missions you run, and there is no published rate to rely on.
Leveling

Also in Patch 7.2.0
The same patch switched the anti-cheat from GameGuard to Easy Anti-Cheat and gave the Killzone and Halo legendary warbond weapons a balance pass, per the 7.2.0 patch notes on Steam. Arrowhead’s anti-cheat post warns that some mods, especially those that affect other players, may stop working, and that cosmetic mods may need updates from their authors. For the rest of the lineup, see our Helldivers 2 warbonds list.
Our Take: Is Scope of Authority Worth It?
Our Take
Aimed at long-range and stealth players; the support weapons are the pages to plan Medals around.
If you already play from cover, the Sightliner, a Shroud armor and one of the two support weapons are the pieces that change a loadout; by the wiki’s costs, the Nova alone is 110 Medals on page 3. If you mostly push forward, the Focal Point and the Caltrops are the closest fits. The warbond itself is bought with Super Credits; Medals then open its pages.
