Diablo 4‘s Season 15 Season Journey — called Season Rank in-game — spans nine ranks and 125 objectives, and finishing it hands out up to 14 Skill Points, 42 Paragon points, 10 Resplendent Sparks and a long list of cosmetics and materials, more than the equivalent track in Season 14. This guide lists every reward Blizzard has published for Season of Hell’s Legacy, breaks down the expansion gate that blocks full completion for some players, and covers the five Season Blessings you unlock along the way.
TL;DR
- Season Rank in Season of Hell’s Legacy has nine ranks and 125 objectives — more than last season’s track
- Confirmed rewards: up to 14 Skill Points, 42 Paragon points, 10 Resplendent Sparks, 5 Mythic Unique Caches, a pet, a mount trophy, emblems, titles and material caches
- Blizzard has not published which reward sits at which rank — only the full pool
- About 15% of objectives require the Lord of Hatred expansion, including objectives needed to complete Rank VIII and earn all rewards
- Smoldering Ashes buy five Season Blessing Urns; each raises a specific chance, with no values given in the overview
What Is the Season Journey in Diablo 4 Season 15?
Season Rank is Blizzard’s term for what most players still call the Season Journey — the account-wide progression track that runs the length of Season of Hell’s Legacy.
Blizzard’s Season of Hell’s Legacy overview states the season “is packed with account-wide goals and rewards” and that “with nine ranks and 125 objectives, there’s even more than last season to accomplish and earn”. It sits alongside — but separate from — the cosmetic-only Battle Pass Reliquary track; Season Rank progression is the one that hands out gameplay power like Skill Points, Paragon points and Resplendent Sparks, rather than transmogs. Objectives feed the same nine-rank track account-wide, so progress isn’t tied to a single character’s own leveling path.
The core seasonal activities that feed these objectives include the Waking Nightmares encounters running through the season’s questline, so it’s worth reading up on the different types and sizes of Waking Nightmares before you start ticking objectives off.
Anyone who would rather not spend the evenings on it can hand Diablo IV boosting to our crew instead — same account, same progress, played by hand.
Season 15 Season Rank Rewards: The Full List
Blizzard’s overview publishes the pool of rewards for the nine ranks without mapping rewards to ranks. The table is that list, grouped by what each reward does for your account. A community guide (ProGameTalk, in Sources) reports per-rank rewards read from the live game — a community reading, not a Blizzard table.

| Skill Points | Up to 14 | Power |
| Paragon points | Up to 42 | Power |

The Lord of Hatred Expansion Footnote: What It Gates
The official overview carries a specific footnote on the Season Rank reward list: “Approximately 15% of Seasonal Objectives require the Lord of Hatred expansion, including objectives needed to complete Rank VIII and earn all Season Rank rewards”. That sentence does two things at once — it quantifies how much of the objective list sits behind the expansion, and it names exactly which part of the track that gate blocks.
Warning
Without the Lord of Hatred expansion you cannot complete Rank VIII or collect every listed reward — that is what the footnote states. Which other objectives fall into the 15 % is not listed in the overview.
Season Blessings: Smoldering Ashes and the Five Urns

Season Rank also unlocks Season Blessings, purchased with a currency called Smoldering Ashes. Ashes come from both Seasonal Objectives and Chapter Rewards, and each Urn raises a specific chance; the overview names the effect but gives no values.
Urn of Curiosities
Boosts the chance of receiving a second item when purchasing from the Purveyor of Curiosities.
Urn of Reclamation
Boosts the chance of rare materials from salvage.
Urn of Masterworking
Boosts the chance to drop additional Obducite.
Urn of Glyphs
Grants a chance to earn an extra upgrade when improving glyphs.
Urn of Ancestral Whispers
Boosts the chance for an Ancestral Cache to appear when turning in Whispers to the Tree of Whispers.
What to Prioritize First

The overview does not say which objective leads to which reward, so there is no verified route to recommend. What works in practice: open the Season Rank screen, look at the next reward on your current rank and the objectives that count toward it, and take those first. Paragon points, Skill Points and Sparks are worth different things to different builds and stages — pick by what your character needs now, not by which number is largest.
If you’re running Rebirth to bring an Eternal character into the season instead of starting fresh, it’s worth checking how War Plans reputation now carries over between characters before you commit — Season Rank progress is account-wide regardless, so it doesn’t reset per character.
Why Skill Points, Paragon Points and Sparks Matter for a Fresh Character
These three rewards aren’t cosmetics — they’re direct account power. Up to 10 Resplendent Sparks come from Season Rank itself, with more inside the five Mythic Unique Caches. What Sparks buy and how Mythic crafting works this season is covered in the Mythic Unique farming guide and the Season 15 Horadric Cube recipes guide; what to sort out before the first objective is in the Season 15 prep checklist. The season’s returning items are in the Legacy Uniques reference.
Blizzard hasn’t published how long any single objective takes, so there is no verified hour total for the track.
Common Misconceptions About the Season 15 Season Journey
“No expansion means you barely get anything from Season Rank”
That overstates it. The footnote specifically ties the expansion requirement to Rank VIII and to collecting the complete reward set — it doesn’t say the whole track is locked. What the footnote states is that Rank VIII and the full reward set require the expansion; it does not list the other gated objectives.
Our Take: Is the Season Journey Worth Finishing?
Our Take
Yes — the track pays out account power, not only cosmetics.
Paragon points, Skill Points and Sparks all land on the account regardless of whether you touch the cosmetic Battle Pass, and the objectives are account-wide, so the track is worth working through on whichever character you play most. The one caveat that actually changes planning is the expansion gate: without Lord of Hatred, Rank VIII and the complete reward set are out of reach.
