Aniimo‘s 1.1 update, Windchaser’s Departure, is scheduled to deploy during server maintenance on September 23, 2026, from 00:00 to 10:00 (UTC+8), and the game is set to launch globally on mobile once that maintenance finishes. This piece pulls every date, threshold and unlock condition Pawprint Studio has published for the update into one place, plus what the studio’s own preview does not say yet.
TL;DR
- Maintenance: September 23, 2026, 00:00–10:00 UTC+8; servers offline, duration may run longer than posted

- Mobile launches globally right after this maintenance window closes

When Is the Aniimo 1.1 Maintenance, and What Do You Get For It?
The maintenance window for Windchaser’s Departure is September 23, 2026, 00:00 to 10:00 (UTC+8); Pawprint Studio’s own preview states Polaris Institute “is scheduled to undergo server maintenance for an update from September 23, 2026, 00:00 to 10:00(UTC+8)”. Servers go offline for the duration, and the studio warns that “actual maintenance duration may vary based on progress,” so treat the 10-hour window as a floor, not a guarantee. Everyone who registered a Pathfinder account before the 1.1 update receives Glimmer x500 as compensation for the downtime. The one action item on your side is manual: once the servers come back, you have to restart your game client yourself to land on the new build.
The same maintenance window is also the mobile launch gate. Once it closes, Aniimo is scheduled to launch globally on iOS and Android. A separate official post from Pawprint Studio confirms mobile pre-download opened earlier, on September 22, 2026 at 00:00 (UTC+8), with the full mobile release following on September 23, 2026 at 10:00 (UTC+8).
Warning
Don’t plan anything around a hard 10:00 end time — the studio explicitly says the window can run long. And if the game looks unchanged after servers return, check that you actually restarted the client rather than just reconnecting.
Not everyone has the evenings for this — Aniimo boosting covers the same ground with someone else on the keys.
Every Windchaser's Departure Date and Unlock Threshold
Pawprint Studio’s preview lists the thresholds by their in-game title rather than a numeric level — Student I, Student II, Trailblazer I and Tier IV “Elite Egg Seeker” — so that’s how they’re written below rather than translated into a level number.
The two Vein Abundance windows are the one calendar trap worth flagging: each Prismana Form only spawns at its named location for exactly one week before the event rotates to the other region, and the preview doesn’t mention a repeat pass. The preview lists one window per region; whether either repeats later is not stated. Anyone stacking Prismana hunts against the wider Prismana and Umbral hunting guide should read the dates before deciding which week to prioritize.

How Holo-Battle Interlink Works
Holo-Battle Interlink unlocks at Trailblazer I and runs on a weekly cycle, from Thursday 04:00 to Monday 03:59 UTC+8. Pawprint Studio describes it as built by an in-fiction team called “Battle Art,” using “advanced simulation technology to recreate Alpha encounters based on historical data of high-threat Aniimos”. You go in as a 4-player team or paired with AI teammates.
Three Routes, One Star Total
Each weekly cycle offers three distinct routes, each with its own unique Alpha and environmental mechanics. Before a run, you pick your Aniimo lineup and select buff effects — in 4-player co-op, that buff choice belongs to whoever is Team Leader. All three routes can be replayed as many times as you want during the cycle.
Star Rank and Weekly Reset
The system tracks your best Star Rank on each of the three routes independently, and milestone rewards unlock based on your combined Star total across all three. Helping other Pathfinders raise their own Star Rank earns separate Support Rewards. Both the Star Rank rewards and the Support Rewards reset every week, so nothing here carries over past the Monday 03:59 cutoff.
Egg Heist Chaos Mode: The New Pinnacle Difficulty

Chaos Mode unlocks on September 24, 2026 at 04:00 (UTC+8), and the gate is reaching Tier IV “Elite Egg Seeker” inside the existing Operation: Egg Heist mode. Getting past that gate isn’t the only cost — entry into Chaos Mode itself also requires spending a Chaos Ticket. Pawprint Studio calls it “the pinnacle difficulty mode,” with “significantly higher drop rates for Prismana Aniimo Eggs and Prismatic Collectibles” and a shot at ultra-rare Secret Collectibles. The trade-off is real risk: the studio’s own text says the mode “is fraught with peril and enforces strict escape conditions,” and recommends teaming up rather than going alone.
Where a Chaos Ticket actually comes from isn’t stated in the 1.1 preview itself. Two independent extracted-data sources describe Chaos Ticket, in the pre-1.1 client, as a reward for successfully evacuating a regular Egg Heist run, exchangeable at a shop for supplies and eggs — but that’s client data mined before this patch, not a confirmed answer for the new Chaos Mode specifically.
Note
Chaos Mode’s entry item isn’t explained in the update preview, so budget time to find the current source in-game rather than assuming the old Egg Heist evacuation reward still applies unchanged.
The Irisalis Chain in Brief
The Legendary Aniipod: Windchaser’s Departure guarantees a 100% capture rate, Perfect Innate Potential, a Sparkling Form and exclusive seasonal perks, and can only be crafted after the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis — the full chain, from Student I and Iris Petals to the Rift Space and both pods, is in our Aniimo Irisalis guide.

What the 1.1 Preview Doesn't Say
Three things aren’t in Pawprint Studio’s own preview text: a build number or an itemized patch-note list beyond the sections it names, the exact Iris Petal counts for either Legendary Aniipod, and where a Chaos Ticket comes from for the new Chaos Mode. None of that is being withheld deliberately as far as the published post shows — it’s simply outside what a preview post covers, and the studio’s other patches (which do carry explicit build-number strings) suggest a separate patch-notes post is the more likely place for that detail.
Our Take: Is Windchaser's Departure Worth Clearing Your Calendar For?
Our Take
The maintenance itself is low-stakes — a flat Glimmer payout and a mobile launch — but the events stacked right behind it are not forgiving about timing.
Five of the eight new systems in this patch open within 48 hours of each other, and two of them (the Vein Abundance windows) are one-week-only with no stated do-over. That’s less “big feature drop” and more “calendar management test” — the actual mechanical depth, like Holo-Battle Interlink’s three-route Star system, is solid enough on paper, but the studio is asking players to be present for specific weeks rather than grinding at their own pace. The unresolved Chaos Ticket source is the one loose thread that could turn Chaos Mode from a reward system into a bottleneck if the acquisition rate turns out to be low.
