Which Stigmas do the strongest AION 2 characters actually equip on the global servers? We read them from the official AION 2 armory twice on 4 October 2026 (17:17 and 17:27 UTC, Advanced Access servers) across all five regions — North America West, North America East, Europe, South America and Asia — and took, for each class, the 30 characters with the highest Combat Power among those our armory search found. Below, for every class: the Stigmas they share, the complete sets they run together, where they split, the skills they level highest and the early skills to check.

TL;DR

  • Assassin: All four Stigmas are settled: Illusive Clone and Swift Contract sit on 28/30 in both runs, Triniel’s Dagger on 24/30 and 22/30, Savage Fang on 21/30 and 20/30.
  • Gladiator: Lunge Stance (25/30 and 23/30) and Zikel’s Blessing (26/30 and 21/30) are the core.
  • Templar: No Stigma reaches two-thirds in both runs.
  • Ranger: Vaizel’s Authority (27/30 and 27/30) and Bow of Blessing (22/30 and 27/30) are the core.
  • Chanter: Undefeated Mantra (30/30 and 29/30) and Sprint Mantra (27/30 and 27/30) are on almost every top Chanter.
  • Sorcerer: Element Enhancement (29/30 and 28/30), Fire Wall (26/30 and 24/30) and Delayed Explosion (25/30 and 21/30) are the core.
  • Spiritmaster: Summon: Ancient Spirit (30/30 and 28/30), Enhance: Spirit’s Benediction (28/30 and 27/30) and Jointstrike: Corrode (21/30 and 21/30) are the core.
  • Cleric: Only Light of Protection (24/30 and 29/30) is common to most top Clerics.

How We Read the Armory

NC’s armory shows each level-45 character’s skills, Stigmas, gear and Daevanion boards. For every class we searched it in all five regions, read about 125 profiles and kept the 30 with the highest Combat Power. We did this twice with different search terms (run A and run B); the two runs share only 1–7 of their 30 characters per class, so they are largely separate groups. A Stigma counts only when the profile shows it both equipped and acquired, as the in-game interface does.

What these numbers are — and are not

A share like 28/30 means 28 of those 30 characters had the Stigma equipped. It is an observation, not a performance test: Combat Power measures gear and levels rather than skill, the armory does not say whether a character builds for PvE or PvP, and a popular pick is not proven to be the best one. Most characters show four Stigmas, a few show more or fewer, so we do not state a slot limit. Everything here is from the first days of the global servers and can change with the first balance patch.

Choosing the open slots. Where a class has a settled core, start with it. For the slots where the runs split, read each candidate’s tooltip in your client, decide which job you need covered — solo, party damage, tanking, healing or PvP — and compare the options in the same content with the same gear. A skill’s name is not a description of what it does.

Complete sets seen together:

  • Illusive Clone + Savage Fang + Swift Contract + Triniel’s Dagger — 11 of 30 in run A, 12 of 30 in run B

Throw Shadowblade and Evasion Stance are the usual swaps; neither reaches a third of the top 30.

  • Lifestealing Blade + Lunge Stance + Rage Burst + Zikel’s Blessing — 6 of 30 in run A, 3 of 30 in run B

Lifestealing Blade and Wrath Wave are the other fourth-slot picks; the runs do not agree on one winner.

The most common are Empyrean Lord’s Punishment (22/30 and 19/30) and Taunt (21/30 and 18/30); Battlefield Banner, Shield of Protection, Doom Shield and Noble Armor each appear on 11 to 18 of the 30.

Complete sets seen together:

  • Empyrean Lord’s Punishment + Noble Armor + Shield of Protection + Taunt — 3 of 30 in run A, 0 of 30 in run B
  • Battlefield Banner + Empyrean Lord’s Punishment + Shield of Protection + Taunt — 2 of 30 in run A, 2 of 30 in run B

No complete set is used by more than 3 of the 30 in either run — the class has no settled loadout yet.

  • Arrow Storm + Bow of Blessing + Supporting Fire + Vaizel’s Authority — 2 of 30 in run A, 8 of 30 in run B
  • Bow of Blessing + Griffon Arrow + Supporting Fire + Vaizel’s Authority — 4 of 30 in run A, 8 of 30 in run B

Supporting Fire, Griffon Arrow, Explosive Arrow and Arrow Storm all appear in a common set; no pair wins both runs, so we do not pick one.

Complete sets seen together:

  • Marchutan’s Wrath + Power of the Storm + Sprint Mantra + Undefeated Mantra — 5 of 30 in run A, 5 of 30 in run B

AION 2 Cleric Build

NC’s life-preserving healer, on a Spiritforged Mace in 28 and 21 of the 30. Only Light of Protection (24/30 and 29/30) is common to most top Clerics. Prayer of Amplification, Summon Resurrection, Earth Punishment and Noble Aura each sit around half.

Complete sets seen together:

  • Earth Punishment + Light of Protection + Noble Aura + Prayer of Amplification — 4 of 30 in run A, 4 of 30 in run B

That is the most common complete set in both runs, but only 4 of the 30 use it — healing and damage picks are still mixed.

Daevanion Boards: What the Top Characters Have Opened

The armory lists five boards on the global client. On average the 240 characters in each run had opened the nodes below. It is an observation of where they are, not a recommended order: plan your route by the bonus you need — read the node effects, check the path and its cost in your client, and record the route next to your Stigmas.

Gear, Stats and Arcana

Gear is almost uniform at this stage: in every class at least 21 of the 30 carry the Spiritforged weapon for their class. That says the early-game route is the same for everyone, not that the weapon is best-in-slot. Weapons and Daevanion nodes can also raise the displayed level of a skill, so an armory skill level is not the number of points a player spent. We did not count stats or Arcana, and we do not publish stat weights or a best Arcana set.

Our Take: Copy the Core, Choose the Rest

Our Take

Take the Stigmas that hold in both runs, then choose the remaining slots for the job you actually do.

Assassin is the one class where the full four-Stigma set holds; Sorcerer and Spiritmaster have a settled core of three; Gladiator, Ranger and Chanter of two; Templar and Cleric are still open. Where the runs split, the alternatives are real choices, so test them in the content you play rather than copying the most common one. For the rest of the launch, see our AION 2 global servers guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best Assassin build in AION 2?
Among the 30 highest-Combat-Power Assassins our armory search found, Illusive Clone and Swift Contract were on 28 of 30 in both runs, and the full set with Triniel’s Dagger and Savage Fang was the most common complete loadout (11 and 12 of 30). It is the most settled build in the game, not a tested best.
Which classes have a settled build?
Assassin has a settled set of four Stigmas; Sorcerer and Spiritmaster share a core of three; Gladiator, Ranger and Chanter a core of two. Templar and Cleric have no Stigma on two-thirds of the top 30 in both runs.
Why do you show two runs?
Each run is a separate search of the armory; they share only 1 to 7 of their 30 characters per class. A Stigma that is common in both is a pattern, not a quirk of one sample.
How do I know a Stigma is actually equipped?
Check the equipped mark and that the Stigma is acquired; a listed skill alone is not enough. We count a Stigma only when both are true.
Do Korean AION 2 builds work on global?
Treat them as references, not imports: the Korean version has had a year of its own balance changes. Compare the skill effects and availability in the global client first.
Is a high Combat Power build automatically better?
No. Combat Power reflects gear and levels, not how well a build performs in a given fight. Use the shared picks as a starting point and test the rest.
