Onimusha: Way of the Sword boss carries and full upgrades
Way of the Sword’s fights are built around the Issen counter, the switch between one-handed and two-handed katana stances, and Oni Armaments summoned on a full Oni Power gauge — Wind-Whipper, Two Celestials, Oni Bow, Dual Clubs and Spear each answer a different Genma. A save stuck on a boss is usually the wrong tool rather than slow hands, and the carry is played on your difficulty, never lowered, with every drop left on the save.
The upgrade order is the other side of the same coin: a “maxed” Musashi is a farming job first — red souls for every node, Tamahagane and Fine Silk Cloth and Dohatsu-ten’s Horn for the last proficiency tiers — and a shopping trip second. Pick the katana tree, katana plus clothing, or all four trees; nodes the story has not unlocked yet are named before the order rather than promised.
Everything is hand-played on your own save on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S or Switch 2, with no trainers or modified files. Payment is held until you load the save and see the result.
