Ten Early Access beta keys for Modern Warfare 4, handed out free on the game hub on 20 August 2026. Thirteen went out in the end, and every one of them is sitting in an order somebody can open.

What went out

PC keys for the early access window — five days ahead of the beta opening to everyone. The open beta itself was free for all on 28 August; the keys only bought the head start, and the page said so at the time. No purchase, no entry fee and no follow-for-entry: a signed-in account and the claim button were the whole mechanic.

How it ran

The timer opened at 19:00 Moscow time on 20 August and was set to close ninety minutes later. Claiming needed a Neonsect account, one key per account, and the code landed in that account’s own order the moment the claim went through — which is why it is still findable in My account, and in the completed-order email.

The numbers, and why they do not match the announcement

Ten keys were announced. Thirteen were delivered. Eleven of them were claimed inside the announced window, between 23:00 and 00:08 site time; the last two went at 00:40 and 03:17, after the timer had already run out.

Thirteen different accounts took one key each. Nobody took two, because the claim checks an account’s own order history before it issues anything. Each of the thirteen orders carries its key code on the line item — the same record the person who claimed it can open.

If the keys ran out

Anyone who arrived after the last key was taken got a discount code instead, and so did anyone who opened the page once the timer had closed. That was the point of the fallback: a giveaway that sends most of its visitors away with nothing is an advert, not a giveaway.

Questions people asked

Was the key free, or attached to a purchase?

Free. All thirteen orders are zero-total. There was no minimum spend, no bundle and no obligation attached to the claim.

Could one person take several?

No. One key per account, checked against that account’s own orders before a code is issued. All thirteen keys went to thirteen different accounts.

Where is my key now?

On the order it was issued with — My account on this site, and the completed-order email. The code did not expire when the giveaway did.

Why did the beta need a key at all?

After 28 August it did not. Only the early access window was gated, and the keys bought five days inside it.

Did I have to be in Discord to take part?

Not for this one. The claim lived on the game page and needed only a signed-in account. Discord is where the next drop is announced first, which is a different thing.
