AION 2 launched worldwide on 5 October 2026, free to play on PC through Steam and NC’s PURPLE launcher, with servers in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. Each server holds one faction — Elyos or Asmodian — and is paired with a server of the other side for the Abyss and Spacetime Rifts. Progress from the Korean and Taiwanese versions does not carry over: everyone on the global servers starts from level 1.
