Activision’s Hajin tour lists 13 major points of interest in MW4 DMZ, each with an expected Threat Level from Low to Extreme. The two Extreme-rated areas are the Air Base Bunker at Chang-san Air Base and the Nenshin Tech Complex inside The Grid. Below you get every POI with its location and threat rating, what Threat actually measures, what the dangerous sites hold, and the location types Infinity Ward lists on the Tac-Map. All ratings come from the official DMZ Deep Dive, Part 1 on callofduty.com (October 5, 2026).
En resumen
- Hajin has 13 major POIs, each with an Expected Threat Level plus sub-area ratings, from Low to Extreme.
- Most dangerous: Chang-san Air Base (Exterior Critical, Bunker Extreme) and The Grid (Critical, Nenshin Tech Complex Extreme).
- Threat counts AI only. Human Operators are not included, so a Low POI can still hold a rival squad.
- Lowest listed Threat: Deadtown exterior, Imjin Farmland, Cheongun Village (casino excepted), Mirae General Hospital and Songdo Wharf.
- Not stated in the tour: per-POI drop rates, squad size per match, and whether POIs or Threat Levels change by season.

All 13 Hajin Points of Interest and Their Threat Levels

This is the full list from Activision’s tour, ordered as the tour orders it. NK and SK mark the former North or South Korean territory. The rating is the expected danger before any combat, and named sub-areas carry their own ratings.
Inside The Grid, DBN Headquarters, Hanex Bank, Minsok Art School and the Construction Zone are each rated Critical on their own. North of Cheongun Village, across the Hajin River, the tour lists the Russian Border as Low but describes it as currently inaccessible and fog-filled, so a Low rating does not mean an area is open. Counting the rows above, three POIs sit on the NK side and ten on the SK side.
The tour also gives Tac-Map grid coordinates as letters running west to east and numbers running north to south. It gives D7 as the example, which marks Imjin Farmland. The tour does not say which POI sits in which other grid square.

What Threat Level Means in MW4 DMZ
Every POI in Hajin has its own Threat, shown at the top-middle of the HUD under the compass. The higher the Threat, the more dangerous and numerous the enemies. The lowest rating at a location with enemies is Low and the highest is Extreme. The tour’s own table also uses Medium, High and Critical in between.
Human Operators are not included in the indicator, so Activision tells players to watch for ambushes as well as extra combat opportunities. Threat is also not fixed. Sustained aggression raises it and triggers retaliation, while vanishing into shadows, taking cover, fleeing to rural terrain, using stealth and moving away so enemies lose visual or audio lock calms the situation. The tour also says each POI gets a consistent response tied to its Threat level, though specific POIs may have unique encounters.
Step-by-Step: Read and Lower Threat as You Enter a POI
-
1
Check the HUD
Look under the compass at the top-middle of the screen as you enter a new location.
-
2
Compare with the table
Match the rating to the POI list below, and remember it does not count rival Operators.
-
3
Decide whether to push
Activision frames this as recognising the danger, then deciding to keep pushing or disengage before the response gets overwhelming.
-
4
Enter quietly if you push
The tour suggests melee, throwing knives or suppressed shots to pass through higher-threat areas without being noticed.
-
5
Break contact to calm it
Take cover and move away from enemies so they lose visual and audible lock.
Which Hajin POIs Have the Lowest Listed Threat
These groupings follow Activision’s ratings only. They say nothing about rival squads, which the indicator does not count.
Low-rated starts
Deadtown’s exterior, Imjin Farmland’s exterior and loading dock, Mirae General Hospital and Songdo Wharf with its two named neighbours are rated Low. Cheongun Village is Low too, with one catch: the Heavenly Luck Casino inside it is High. Deadtown’s Re-Education Center and Imjin’s Rice Mill are Medium.
Medium-rated POIs
Cheonwang Peak Array, Wolves Stadium with its Theatre, and Hajin River Heights with South Island and Jinseo Park Towers are all rated Medium. NuriGO Mall splits, with the east side Medium and the west side High.
High and above, with radiation as its own problem
Haneul Nuclear Reactor is High at the reactor itself and Medium at the South Korean Border Zone. Its danger is the radiation rather than the rating, as covered next. The rest of the High and above list is the 14th Political Prison, the Casino, NuriGO West, The Grid and Chang-san Air Base.
Practical notes from the tour: bring NVGs into the Heavenly Luck Casino and the underground shopping tunnels beneath NuriGO Mall, where there is no mains power; wear radiation gear and a gas mask at the Haneul reactor; and expect a hard approach to Chang-san Air Base, with cliffs on the eastern side and access found from the woodland to the south.
What the High-Threat POIs Hide
The Citadel (14th Political Prison, Critical)
The Citadel is a Y-shaped fortress inside the prison yard, rated Critical while the prison and yard are High. Activision describes gantries, walkways, repatriation chambers, a huge furnace, deadly high value targets and a warren of cell blocks. Without topographical recon, operators can become isolated, surrounded and overwhelmed.
The Air Base bunker (Chang-san Air Base, Extreme)
The base is built into a granite hillside that hides an underground bunker complex bigger than the surface footprint. The exterior is Critical and the bunker is Extreme. Activision says infiltration is tricky from any angle, with cliffs along the eastern perimeter, and that recon teams have found access from the elevated woodland to the south. Large bunker doors have been observed in the southern hillside.
Haneul Nuclear Reactor radiation
All personnel entering must wear radiological protective apparel and a gas mask at all times. Exposure without adequate protection is likely to cause severe injury or death. Fire Stations are where the tour points you to search for Radiation Gear. The launch patch notes of 23 October 2026 say Gas Masks, including Durable Gas Masks, no longer break immediately upon entering radiation zones.
Advertencia
Do not enter the reactor complex without radiological apparel and a gas mask. Activision states exposure without protection is likely to cause severe injury or death.
The Grid and the Nenshin Tech Complex
The Grid is Critical across central Hajin City, and the Nenshin Tech Complex is the second Extreme-rated area on the map. DBN Headquarters, Hanex Bank, Minsok Art School and the Construction Zone are each separately Critical.
Locations of Interest and What They Hold
Alongside named POIs, Activision lists building and site types you can read from the Tac-Map. Treat the loot notes as likelihood, not a guarantee. The tour says to investigate each for an increased likelihood of preferred loot, with exact contents left to discover.
SAM Sites are described as particularly useful against Deathstalkers, but if you move too far away, enemy forces can reacquire the site. Fulton balloon and Flare are listed as alternate exfil methods.
Advertencia
Exfil sites can be used as ambush points by other squads. After a Lieutenant kill, the Deep Dive says the Dog Tag Case appears on the Tac Map for every Operator, and picking it up broadcasts your position.
| Site type | What the tour lists | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Fire Station | Radiation Gear, Parachutes | Enemy presence expected |
| Police Station | Military gear, locked Armory | Blue colour scheme; many rooms to clear |
| Clinic | Medical loot | Green exterior; watch for ambushes |
| Compound | Improved loot, valuable intel | Heavily defended; stealth is noted as an advantage |
| Gas Station | Repair and refuel vehicles | Can refill Gas Cans; Marine ones serve boats |
| UAV Tower | Side Op, DMZ Cash | Pulse reveals nearby Operators and enemies |
| SAM Site | Side Op via control computer | Targets enemy aircraft once captured |
| Lieutenant Hunt tower | Intel on a nearby Lieutenant | Climb the tower, use the laptop on top |
| Exfil site | Twin Heli Exfil call-in | Marked by green smoke; hold until arrival |
| Ammo & Armor Cache | Ammo and Armor Plates | Often inside compounds; cooldown after use |
| Bounty Station | Bounties on human Operators | Pay off your own Bounty with DMZ Cash |
DMZ Boss Hunt
Piloted: a booster plays your account in Hajin, hunts Lieutenants and extracts their weapons and loot with the XP.
Minor Points of Interest

Beyond the 13 majors, the tour says Hajin has over 60 named locations in total. It gives a first glimpse of minor POIs, including Hajin River, Tong-il Village, Revolution Dam, Pyonghwa Village, Imjin Suburb, Mujin Pass and Daesong Ridge. Threat ratings for these are not given in the tour.
What Is Not Stated, and One Open Issue
Activision’s Hajin tour does not give exact item drop rates per location, a squad size per match, or whether POIs or Threat Levels change by season. Season 1 is reported for November 6, 2026 by Insider Gaming. Activision has not said what Season 1 changes in Hajin. For the FOB, stations and progression around the map, see our MW4 DMZ explained guide.
One known issue was still open in the Oct 23, 2026 launch patch notes: enemy AI cars in DMZ can move without drivers or get stuck, and Activision says it is monitoring the issue.
Nuestra opinión
Use the Threat rating as a guide to the AI response, then add your own read on rival squads.
Our reading: the Low and Medium POIs are the sensible places to learn Hajin’s loot and Side Op types, since the rating tells you how heavy the AI response is expected to be. Critical and Extreme areas such as the Air Base bunker and Nenshin Tech Complex are where the AI response is expected to be heaviest, so they suit a prepared squad. Because human Operators are not counted, a Low rating is not a promise of a quiet lobby.
