AION 2 Ludra Raid Nov 4: Item Level Gates and Titles

Ludra returns to AION 2 on 4 November 2026, with normal mode opening at item level 2,800 and hard mode at item level 3,000, according to NCSOFT’s Steam announcement of 23 October.

NCSOFT’s AION 2 launched on PC on 5 October 2026, and Ludra is the raid the developer calls the first major challenge players will face. The announcement says Ludra will return to Atreia on 4 November with new mechanics. Normal mode and hard mode are both immediately available to players who have reached 2,800 (normal) and 3,000 (hard) item level.

Treat the gate as steep. Endgame Tools reports that of the 1,546 level-45 characters it follows in NC’s armory, read on 21 October 2026, one had item level 2,800 and none had 3,000 (their Ludra article). That is their sample, not a population figure from NC, and Neonsect has not checked it.

Ludra Hunt runs from 4 November after maintenance to 24 November before maintenance in PST, or 25 November before maintenance in CET. It covers five regions: Europe, NA East, NA West, South America and Asia. The post says players will also be memorialized in-game through the Hall of Fame, which is separate from the title rewards below. The full table is also on NC’s official AION 2 notice page.

Ranked titles are hard mode only

Ranks 1 to 3 are counted by the order in which parties clear hard mode in each region, and the rank 1 to 3 titles have a purple decorative effect. Hard mode needs item level 3,000, so the ranked race is limited to that gate.

Ludra Hunter covers every other clear

Anyone who clears normal or hard mode during the event period and does not place in the top 20 parties gets Ludra Hunter. Normal mode needs 2,800 rather than 3,000.

The Odyle Energy Boost runs from 28 October after maintenance to 10 November before maintenance in PST, or 11 November before maintenance in CET. It delivers 2x Odyle Energy through in-game mail, and the post recommends spending it on more Expeditions and more Transcendence Dungeons. Ludra’s normal mode needs 2,800, while Expedition Hard mode, added in the 20/21 October patch, needs item level 2,600 to enter, so our Expedition Hard guide for Krao Cave and Draupnir covers the step before Ludra.

The time cost is where the wall is. Ludra normal needs 2,800 and Hard Expedition entry is 2,600, so the gap between the two gates is 200 item levels, and the post publishes no hours or run counts for closing it. The one fixed number is the daily delivery: 2 Odyle Energy per character per day. If all 14 daily deliveries between 28 October and 10 November (PST) are available, that is 28 per character; the post does not give the daily reset time, so how many deliveries fit between the two maintenances is not stated.

Both side events run 4 November 06:00 to 17 November 23:59 in PST, or 4 November 15:00 to 18 November 8:59 in CET. Neither requires the Ludra clear itself.

One check-in a day opens the next reward. There are 7 rewards spread over the 14 days, so up to 7 missed days still let you finish the track.

Twitch Drops: 1 to 14 hours of watch time

Rewards unlock at each cumulative watch hour from 1 to 14, and NC points to its Twitch Drops FAQ for details.

The same post also lists a Ludra Outfit Contest and a Daeva Bootcamp milestone event for the same dates; they are separate from the two events above.

NCSOFT’s post does not describe Ludra’s new mechanics, its loot table, or any party size or composition rule beyond the 10, 40 and 150 player counts in the title table, and it does not say whether item level is the only entry requirement. Treat any phase list or party layout you see before 4 November as unverified, because the post says the mechanics are new.
