Boot up The Division 2 in 2026 and the shop throws Premium Credits, a Season Pass, an Event Pass, and a $14.99 DLC listing at you before you have even checked your stash. Most of it is cosmetic noise. Three purchases actually change how you play, and they are not the ones the storefront pushes hardest.
En resumen
- The Red Horizon Season Pass (1,000 Premium Credits) is the best value of the three: its premium track hands back 400 Premium Credits, three Exotic Caches and an extra Fafnir. Classified Assignments, Tier Skips and the XP boost come only with the $29.99 Bundle.
- Stash space is a real-money DLC buy, not a Premium Credits one: Battle for Brooklyn ($14.99) lists a stash increase now, and Echoes of Central Park lists 50 more slots from 3 November.
- Event Pass premium tracks are outfits plus a couple of Exotic Caches and run about two weeks; worth it only when one is live and you want its outfits. None is live on 11 October 2026.
- Nothing here is premium-only power: the paid track adds a second Fafnir and three Exotic Caches, which are extra loot rolls, and Fafnir itself is on the free track. Builds still come from farming.

La respuesta breve
Rank the three shop purchases worth making right now and the order is not close. The Red Horizon Season Pass at 1,000 Premium Credits comes first because it returns the most per credit spent: premium-track caches, an extra Exotic and 400 Premium Credits back, all usable during Year 8 Season 3. A stash expansion is second, once you have checked that your edition doesn’t already include one, and it comes with a DLC rather than Premium Credits: Battle for Brooklyn ($14.99) now, or Echoes of Central Park from 3 November. More stash space is the one buy in this game that never stops being useful.
The seasonal Event Pass premium track is third, and only when one is running: none is live on 11 October 2026. When the next arrives, it is a fine buy if its outfits are ones you would actually equip, but it is time-limited and mostly cosmetic. If you only have Premium Credits for one purchase this season, spend them on the Season Pass, not on whatever crossover event is trending that week.
Not everyone has the evenings for this — Boosting de The Division 2 covers the same ground with someone else on the keys.
The Red Horizon Season Pass Comes First
The Year 8 Season 3 Season Pass, Red Horizon, sits at the top for one simple reason: it is available to every player starting at level 1, and its rewards get used during the season rather than after it wraps.
What 1,000 Premium Credits Actually Buys
The optional Season Pass is available for all Division 2 players starting at Level 1, priced at 1,000 Premium Credits, roughly $9.99 or your regional equivalent, in the in-game store. Worth knowing before you buy: some of those premium rewards only become usable once you hit level 40, so if you are still leveling a fresh agent, the Season Pass is not urgent yet.
What the Premium Track Pays Back
Per Ubisoft’s Red Horizon notes, the premium track adds two Prestige Arm Patches, the Richardson and Kernwell outfits, an extra copy of the Fafnir Exotic shotgun, the Hot-Rigged weapon skin, 10 gear dyes, 10 universal weapon skins, 3 Exotic Caches, 9 Optimization and 9 Crafting Material Caches and 400 Premium Credits. The free track, open to everyone, already includes Fafnir itself and the Iron Will Exotic chest.
Bundle vs Supply Drop
El Red Horizon Bundle ($29.99) adds what the pass alone does not: two Classified Assignments (The District Mall Inferno, out since 27 August, and The Georgetown Dead Zone, due 15 October), a 15% Season Pass XP boost, a Cleaners-themed outfit and 20 Tier Skips. The Supply Drop ($49.99) is the same plus 5,000 Premium Credits. Already own the pass? Either offer returns 1,000 Premium Credits. Bundle owners who buy the Supply Drop get 3,000 extra, and Supply Drop owners who buy the Bundle get 3,000 instead of it. Classified Assignments unlock at Level 30.

A Stash-Space DLC Comes Second
This one trips people up because it is not a Premium Credits purchase at all. Battle for Brooklyn is a Year 7 DLC that launched on 27 May 2025, priced at $14.99 standalone on US Steam, and its store page lists a “stash space increase” among its contents. The page gives no number (checked 11 October 2026); players commonly report +50 slots.
Why Stash Space Is the One Purchase That Compounds
A Season Pass outfit stays yours, but each season brings new ones to chase. Extra stash slots keep paying off on every single loot drop after you buy them, which is exactly why it still ranks second on this list well over a year after release. The DLC itself bundles more than just storage:
- A story-driven mini-campaign set in Brooklyn
- Two new open-world named zones
- A level 40 character boost
- New and refreshed skills, gear and exotics
Real Money, Not Premium Credits — Check Before You Click
The mix-up here is genuinely common. Some Ultimate Edition owners have reported the storefront listing the same $14.99 purchase months after buying an edition that supposedly bundled the DLC and its stash space already. On Steam today, the Elite and Legendary editions bundle Warlords of New York, Battle for Brooklyn and Echoes of Central Park with a level 40 boost and a 50 stash space increase, so owners of those editions already have it.
Echoes of Central Park Adds 50 More
El Echoes of Central Park Steam page lists a “50 stash space increase” and a level 40 boost alongside the new campaign, out on 3 November 2026. If you own neither DLC and stash space is the reason to buy, waiting three weeks gets you the slots plus new content; price and editions are in our Echoes of Central Park preview. Whether its stash increase stacks with Battle for Brooklyn’s is not stated on either page (checked 11 October 2026).
Check your stash cap in the menu before spending anything here. If it already reads higher than the base value, you own the expansion — do not buy it twice.
Third, When One Is Live: An Event Pass Premium Track
Reddit threads and YouTube comparisons will tell you Event Pass premium tracks are “free value” because the included currency or caches pay the cost back. That math only works if you actually want the cosmetics on offer — outside of that, you are paying for a skin.
The most recent was the Broken Rain Event Pass, 11 to 25 August 2026: the free track gave the JTF Controller and JTF Commando outfits, and the premium track added two more JTF outfits, two Exotic Caches and an Outfit Token, a currency that unlocks one eligible Store outfit. Before it, the Dead by Daylight pass (30 June to 14 July) charged 1,000 Premium Credits for its premium track. As of 11 October 2026 no Event Pass is announced for Red Horizon; the season notes only say Halloween plans are coming. The economics hold for whichever pass comes next. Free track first, premium track only if you specifically want the paid skins.
Season Pass for content, stash expansion for the long haul, event pass for cosmetics you actually plan to wear.
| Purchase | Cost | Moneda | What You Get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red Horizon Season Pass | 1,000 Premium Credits (about $9.99) | Premium Credits | Fafnir copy, 2 outfits, 3 Exotic Caches, 400 credits back |
| Battle for Brooklyn DLC | $14.99 | Real money (DLC) | Stash increase, mini-campaign, level 40 boost |
| Echoes of Central Park DLC | $19.99 (US Steam) | Real money (DLC) | 50 stash slots, level 40 boost; out 3 November |
| Seasonal Event Pass premium track | 1,000 Premium Credits (about $10) | Premium Credits | Outfits plus Exotic Caches; none live on 11 October |
Which Purchase Matters Most for Your Situation
New Agents Still Leveling to 40
Hold off on the Season Pass until you are closer to 40 — a chunk of its premium rewards only unlock at that point. Spend early Premium Credits, if any, on cosmetics you like, and once your inventory starts filling up, check which edition you own and your stash cap before spending real money on a stash expansion.
Returning Players After a Break
Check your stash cap first. If you left before Battle for Brooklyn launched, that stash expansion is probably the single most useful $14.99 you can spend before you even touch this season’s content, since a full stash blocks every other system from the Recalibration Library down to basic loot pickup. If you are coming back for Echoes of Central Park anyway, its own stash increase arrives on 3 November.
Long-Time Level 40 Hoarders
You have almost certainly already got the stash bump. For you, the Season Pass is the priority every season, and an Event Pass premium track, when one is live, is a pure taste call — buy it only for outfits you would actually equip over your current build’s look.

Common Mistakes: Where Agents Waste Premium Credits
The biggest waste is not buying the wrong thing outright, it is buying things in the wrong order. Do not buy small Premium Credits top-ups repeatedly — you end up leaving loose change stranded because nothing costs exactly that amount twice.
- Duplicate stash purchases Owners of editions that bundle Battle for Brooklyn (Elite and Legendary on Steam today) occasionally rebuy the DLC without realizing they already own it.
- Event Pass premium tracks bought on impulse The outfits look great in the store preview and forgettable three days later once the crossover rotates out.
- Buying the pass first, then the Bundle The Bundle and Supply Drop already contain the Premium Season Pass; owners get 1,000 Premium Credits back for it, so buy the bigger offer first if you want it.
- Ignoring the free Event Pass track entirely The free tier on most crossover passes already includes two full outfits for zero spend.
Conclusión
Depends on where you are in the season. If you play Red Horizon regularly and plan to stick around through the rest of Year 8, the Season Pass is good value: the premium track hands back 400 of its 1,000 Premium Credits, so the net cost is 600, with caches and cosmetics on top. If you are sitting on a full stash and constantly breaking down gear just to make room, a DLC with a stash increase is worth it by itself, Season Pass or not, once you have checked your edition and stash cap: Battle for Brooklyn now, Echoes of Central Park from 3 November.
An Event Pass premium track is good, not essential, on the value scale. When the next one arrives, buy it only if its outfits are ones you would actually wear.
