Seller terms
These are the rules you sell under. They are the same rules the software enforces — every figure below is read from it, so this page cannot drift away from what actually happens to your money.
1. What you may list
Game keys, and nothing else. Accounts, in-game currency, items and services are not listable here — our own services are a different business on the same site.
Keys must be yours to sell and must not be listed anywhere else at the same time. A key already on the board under another listing is flagged automatically and held for a human; if it turns up under two different sellers, neither listing goes live until that is settled.
Open to listings right now: Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Palworld, ARC Raiders, Borderlands 4, Marathon. The list grows; it is not a promise that a game stays on it.
2. What it costs
- We take 10% of your asking price. List at $100, you are credited $90.00.
- The buyer pays 5% on top as a protection fee, so your $100 shows on the shelf as $105.00. That fee buys the escrow.
- Nothing to list, nothing monthly, nothing on a listing that never sells.
Your share is calculated from your asking price, never from what the buyer paid — the buyer's fee is not yours and is not charged to you.
3. How the money moves
The buyer pays us, not you. The key is released to them immediately. We hold the payment for 72 hours, during which the buyer can tell us the key did not work. If they confirm it works, or if the window passes in silence, the sale clears and your balance grows.
A cleared sale is not withdrawable at once. It sits in a payout hold — see §4 — because a card chargeback can arrive months after a key was redeemed, and the hold is the only window in which not paying out is still possible.
4. Levels, holds and limits
How much of our money you may be holding at any moment, and how long after a sale you wait, depends on what we know about you.
| Level | Money in flight | Payout hold | Live listings |
|---|---|---|---|
| New — confirmed, no documents | $300.00 | 168h | 10 |
| Verified — documents checked | $2,000.00 | 72h | 60 |
| Trusted — verified, 25+ clean sales | $10,000.00 | 48h | 300 |
| Restricted — suspended or disputes above the line | $0.00 | 336h | 0 |
"Money in flight" is sales still held plus cleared money still inside the hold. Money already paid out does not count against it. When you are at the cap, buyers are told the seller cannot take more orders right now — not that anything is wrong with you.
Disputes are counted against you the moment one opens and struck off if it is resolved in your favour. Above 15% of your sales, selling stops. The rate is only calculated once you have at least 8 sales and disputes together.
5. Verification
Send identification to sales@neonsect.com. A human checks it and it is deleted. We do not store your documents — what is kept is that someone checked, who, and when.
Verification shortens your hold, raises your cap, and sorts your listings above unverified ones. It can be withdrawn if what you sent turns out to be wrong; money already credited keeps the hold it was credited under.
6. Payouts
- USDT · Tron (TRC-20) only. An address on another chain cannot be recovered — by us or by anyone. Check it before you save it.
- Minimum $20.00, and you withdraw the whole available balance rather than part of it.
- One request open at a time.
- Payouts are sent by hand, usually within a day. You get the transaction hash, and that hash is what either of us checks the payment against afterwards.
7. Your listing text
The title is built from the fields you pick — game, edition, platform, region. You do not write it. Your shop blurb and your activation instructions are yours, with one rule enforced automatically: links, @handles, emails, phone numbers and chat-app names are stripped.
This is not decoration. A sale pulled off-site has no escrow, no dispute queue, and no way back for either of you — the buyer loses our protection and you lose the only record that proves you delivered. Systematically routing buyers off-platform ends the account.
The contacts you give us — Telegram, Discord — are a different thing and are never shown to buyers. They are how support reaches you while an order is open.
8. Moderation
Your first 3 listings are read by a human before they go live. After that you publish directly and we check afterwards. A listing can be paused or pulled at any time; you are told why, and a rejected listing keeps its history so it can be fixed rather than started again.
A listing that runs out of keys pauses itself and comes back when you top it up.
9. Disputes
A buyer who reports a problem within their 72-hour window freezes the order. A moderator reads the order chat and decides. Two outcomes: the buyer is refunded and you are credited nothing, or the sale clears and your normal hold starts.
Answer in the order chat. Silence decides a dispute against you, because there is nothing else to read. Most disputes are a buyer redeeming a key in the wrong place, which is why the activation instructions on your listing are worth writing properly.
Keys already handed over are not clawed back — they cannot be. A dispute lost is a loss you carry, and that is what the payout hold in §3 exists to make possible.
Disputes go to dispute@neonsect.com. Anything else — applications, documents, a payout that has not landed — goes to sales@neonsect.com.
10. Suspension
We can stop an account selling. The usual reasons are keys that are not yours, the same key sold twice, a dispute rate above the line in §4, or moving buyers off-platform. A suspended account keeps access to its orders and payout history, because an open dispute still needs both sides.
Money owed for sales that cleared before a suspension is still owed and is still paid out, unless it is the subject of the dispute that caused the suspension.
11. Changes
You are bound by the version of this page that was in force when you applied, which is recorded against your account. When a rule changes in a way that costs you something, the version number above changes and you are told before it applies to you. Wording fixes do not bump it.
