Onimusha: Way of the Sword souls and materials farming
Way of the Sword runs its whole progression on red souls: the katana tree, the clothing tree, the ability tree, the gauntlet tree, Yorimasa’s Monument at Yasui Konpiragu shrine and every charm upgrade at Enma’s Hall all draw from the one pool Musashi’s gauntlet absorbs. Yellow souls heal on the spot and blue souls fill the Oni Power gauge, so red is the only colour that can be farmed and kept — and the late upgrades cost thousands each.
Equipment proficiency is the second grind. Sword, clothing and gauntlet each climb four tiers, and each tier asks for named materials — Whetstone, Iron, Tempered Iron and Tamahagane for the sword; Hempen Cloth, Cotton Cloth, Leather and Fine Silk Cloth for clothing; Malicite, Malicite Mass, Byakue’s Talisman and Dohatsu-ten’s Horn for the gauntlet — with the tier-4 rares being the ones that stall a run.
Both orders are farmed by hand on your own save: no trainers, no edited files, no “999k souls” packs. You get a screenshot before and after, and payment is held until you load the save and see the counter or the inventory yourself.
