Who Is on the Honkai Star Rail 4.6 Banners
Pearl is a 5-star Ice character on the Path of Elation. HoYoverse describes her as a defence character: she spends “Certified Banger” to block damage for all allies, her Ultimate advances a teammate’s action, and she restores HP and dispels debuffs for the team. In her “Deep Learning” state she learns a chosen teammate’s combat data and gains an Enhanced ATK; if that teammate is an Elation character, the Enhanced ATK deals extra Elation damage, and if the whole team is Elation, the teammate also gets an extra turn with a large amount of Punchline and Certified Banger. Her signature Light Cone, Colors for Tomorrow, is a 5-star Elation cone on the “Brilliant Fixation: Colors for Tomorrow” Light Cone Event Warp.
Note
HoYoverse says the stats shown in the combat demo are for reference only and that the launch version is final, so judge the kit by the live game rather than the preview.
| Personaje | Element / Path | Signature Light Cone | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pearl | Ice / Elation | Colors for Tomorrow | Whole version (official) |
| Evanescia (rerun) | Physical / Elation | Until the Flowers Bloom Again (third-party schedule) | First half of the version (official) |
| Mortenax Blade (rerun) | Not stated in the official posts we read | Reforged in Hellfire (third-party schedule) | Second half of the version (official) |
If the grind is the only part worth skipping, Boosting de Honkai Star Rail runs the same route on your own account.
4.6 Phase Breakdown: Who Should Pull and Who Should Skip
The official posts say the Evanescia rerun sits in the first half of 4.6 and the Mortenax Blade rerun in the second, without printing the day of the switch. Third-party schedules (allthings.how, Game8) put it on 21 October, the day the official post starts the Interastral Peace Gala event, and list Xueyi, Qingque and Misha as the 4-star rate-ups. Check the date and the 4-stars on the in-game Warp screen before you spend.
| Phase | Dates | Pull if you... | Skip if you... |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 | 28 September to about 21 October | Want Pearl’s damage-blocking support, plan Elation teams, or are missing Evanescia | Have no Elation units in mind, since Pearl’s strongest effects need Elation teammates |
| Phase 2 | About 21 October to 11 November | Want Pearl late, or missed Mortenax Blade on his earlier run | Already have a settled team and no jade to spare after Phase 1 |
How Many Pulls Can You Save in a 44-Day Version
Version 4.6 is a full-length version: from the 28 September update to 11 November, 06:00 (UTC+8), 44 days. Version 4.5 ran only five weeks, so this one gives back the extra week of dailies, weekly resets and events. The official posts name two free Stellar Jade lumps outright: 600 as compensation for the update and its fixes, and 500 from the Wishpower UP event. Story and event rewards are worth more jade on top of that, but the update post does not itemise them.
Weekly modes like Universo Simulado are worth clearing every reset whichever banner you save for, and the Trailblaze Power guide covers where stamina earns the most.
| Conseguir | Qué incluye | Requirement | Estado |
|---|---|---|---|
| Update compensation | 300 + 300 Stellar Jade (maintenance and bug compensation) | Trailblaze Level 4+ before 28 Sept 06:00 (UTC+8); claim the bug compensation mail before 28 Oct 23:59 (UTC+8) and the maintenance one before 4.6 ends | Official |
| Wishpower UP! Down with Voracity! | 500 Stellar Jade, 18 Trendible Vouchers and a commemorative medal | Defeat enemies corroded by the Voracity; runs until 11 Nov 06:00 (UTC+8) | Official |
| Daily training missions | 60 Stellar Jade per day, about 2,640 over 44 days | Log in and clear the dailies | In-game rate from our earlier guide, not re-checked for 4.6 |
| Trailblaze Mission “Astropolis: Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise” | Jade amount not itemised in the update post | Trailblaze Level 21+; the mission opens the Life Sciences Institute area | Official (content); reward amount not stated |
| Love, Ghosts & Robots and Interastral Peace Gala: One Take | Reward lists not itemised in the update post | Trailblaze Level 21+; the first ends 11 Nov 03:59 (UTC+8), the Gala runs 21 Oct to 11 Nov 03:59 | Official (dates); reward amount not stated |
The Real Cost: How Many Days of Dailies Fund One Pull
A single warp costs 160 Stellar Jade and daily training gives 60 a day, so dailies alone fund a pull about every 2.7 days: roughly 16 pulls over the 44 days. The 600 compensation and 500 event jade add about 7 more, which puts the free jade the official posts name near 23 pulls, before any story, endgame or event jade. That is enough for one banner with a cushion, not for two, and 90 pulls is only the hard-pity ceiling of a single 5-star.
Advertencia
Pity carries over between banners of the same type, but the 50/50 coin flip does not guarantee you win it on your first hard pity. If you lose it, your very next 5-star on that banner is guaranteed to be the featured unit, which can mean spending well over 90 pulls before you land the character you wanted.
What to Finish Before Version 4.6 Closes
Once a phase ends its banner closes, and a rate-up character or Light Cone leaves the featured pool until a rerun, which is never guaranteed on a fixed timeline. Everything else in the version has an official end date:
- Love, Ghosts & Robots, Astral Imagea Park and Wishpower UP end on 11 November, at 03:59 or 06:00 (UTC+8) depending on the event; Interastral Peace Gala: One Take runs from 21 October to 11 November 03:59.
- The two new outfits are discounted until 11 November 03:59 (UTC+8): Warm Cotton Skies for Hyacine at 1,350 Oneiric Shards instead of 1,680, and Lunar Blossoming for Evanescia at 2,680 Stellar Jades instead of 3,280.
- Claim the bug compensation mail before 28 October 23:59 (UTC+8).
- HoYoverse has announced Ellen and Astra Yao from Zenless Zone Zero for Version 4.8, so 4.8 is the version to keep some jade for if you want them.
Myth: Evanescia and Mortenax Blade Are New Characters
Both are limited 5-stars returning in reruns, according to the official announcement. The only new 5-star in 4.6 is Pearl.
Myth: The Phase Split Means You Have to Choose One and Forget the Other
Nothing stops you from pulling in both phases if you have the jade. The phases decide when each character is available, not whether you may pull for both. The real limit is your jade income.
Our Take: Should You Pull in Honkai Star Rail 4.6
Nuestra opinión
Decide whether Pearl fits a team you have before you pull, and bank the rest for a rerun or Version 4.8.
Pearl’s strongest effects lean on Elation teammates, so she is a clear pull only if you run or plan an Elation team. The version is a full 44 days and the free jade the official posts name comes to about one banner, so one target with a cushion is realistic and two is not without a saved stockpile. This is our reading of the official descriptions; we have not tested her kit in the live game.
