Your Steam account carries a country. That country decides which storefront you open, which currency you are charged in and which payment methods clear at checkout. It is not a setting you can flip from the client, which is why it is worth having done properly rather than improvised.
The three services on this page
- Ukraine — the store priced in hryvnia.
- Kazakhstan — the store priced in tenge.
- Any other region — name the country in the order notes or on live chat. We confirm it is possible before a minute of work happens, and refund in full if it is not.
What actually changes, and what does not
The storefront, the currency and the payment methods change. Your library, friends list, hours, achievements, inventory and cloud saves do not. Games you already own stay owned — the new region cannot take them back.
How much you save
That depends on the title, and anyone quoting a flat percentage is guessing. Steam prices every country separately, each publisher sets those numbers independently, and the exchange rate moves them daily — so the gap is wide on one game, narrow on the next and occasionally zero. Look up the three or four games you actually plan to buy before you order; SteamDB lists every country’s price for a title side by side and the check takes a minute.
Steam’s rules, before you order rather than after
Valve limits how often a store country can be changed, so treat this as a move to plan rather than something to hop between. And once you are there, purchases expect a payment method belonging to the new country: the region decides the store you see, the payment method is what keeps you in it. Rarely, a title is sold only in certain countries or in a version that only runs there — if one specific game is your reason for moving, ask us to check it first.
How we work
By hand, on a connection matched to the target country, in one session rather than something left running afterwards. Nothing is installed on your machine and nothing is left behind on the account. This is our own crew, not a third-party listing and no middleman: payment stays in escrow until you have opened Steam yourself and seen the store you asked for.
